Iranian Web Designing festival Terms
Iran's Website Designing Festival:
The respective Festival is held in two sectors:
- Research ( Which is held once in a year during festival)
- Competition ( Which is held twice in year, one during the festival and the other through internet)
The Festival is held as follows:
- University professors, students, Website designers and programmers and persons interested in IT zone.
- Managers, The ministry IT experts, governmental Institutes and private sector companies.
- Public communication managers and advertising and marketing experts.
Purpose of the festival:
1. Introduction, acquaintance and approach toward optimizing Iranian website in accordance with global standards and making the following standards domestic.
2. Identifying, Introduction, and celebrating the superior website designers, electronical contents of Iranian Weblogs for presentation as the best designing models and contents.
3. Identifying portals, Iranian content management softwares , Introduction and separating of them from open text projects or foreign portals and also identifying Iranian software facilities.
4. Acquaintance of companies and organizations with their websites technical status in comparison with the other Iranian websites.
5. Efficient directive for legal and practical warranty
Offered articles guideline for the Festival research section
1. The new technologies of the websites (Web 2, Web 3 and new structures cooperating with users)
2. Web standards and the role of academic education in web designing in Iran and the world.
3. Internet services including Insurance, Email, Internet banking in the websites.
4. Legal and lawful commitment for web designers and preserving rights of designers.
5. Challenges and opportunities for web designers in Iran.
6. The status of websites in the Iranian organization and the efficiency of the respective websites in supplying services and acquiring the aims of the organization.
7. Open text programs and their application in Iran.
8. Electronical signature and security
9. Organizing website designing companies, policy, logistic and their services for developing websites.
Terms for sending articles to the research sector of the Festival
1. The sent articles and thesises should be included the latest acquirement, findings and theoretical and practical ideas in the related fields.
2. The sent articles should not have been published before the festival or simultaneously sent to another conference.
3. The sent articles should be prepared in maximum 8 pages of A4 sheets.(By Nazanin 14 in word document 2003 or XP).
4. Summary of the article should be prepared in one paragraph (50 to 70 words) and contained the main topic of the article. Along with it is also possible to send the summary of the article through the following email address(articles@webdesigncenter.ir).
5. The alphabetical reference of the Persian and English resources are required to be mentioned separately.
6. Complete specification of the article writer including the accrued post address, email address and the phone number are required to be mentioned at the end of the article.
7. Small sized photograph of the writer and article CD is mandatory.
The deadline to send the articles is considered not to be later than 10/9/1387 and accordingly the summary of it should be prepared in maximum three pages and sent to the secretariat office with writers name and address.
Terms and conditions of sending your website to the competition sector of the festival
1. The sent websites should be uploaded and be about one of the following items: Portal, CMS, Content management, Graphic site, Animation sites or weblogs (Froums and chat rooms are not considered as participant websites.)
2. The website designer should have the Iranian nationality (there is no limitation for the sent addresses regarding Iran or overseas.)
3. There is no limitation for the number of sent items for each participant in the respective festival.
4. Your sent websites should not be included in the list of filtered sites (observance of moral scales are considered mandatory.)
5. The senders is required to be the designer and copyright owner of the respective website and designers who participate in the festival should mention their websites copyright owner name and address. (For registering task the copyright owners name is considered prior)
Deadline date for sending your websites.
- The deadline for sending your websites is 1st of Bahman 1387 and the juror names would be announce early.
- One of the most important advantages of participating in the respective festival is the technical consideration of websites and providing written technical report to the participants from jurors and along with the participants would also be able to consider status report of their website on a colorful graphic chart in comparison to the whole participants.
Website evaluation:
- Evaluation part would be held online. Each website is evaluated by 3 juror separately and the evaluation indicators are completely defined.
- The jurors of each criterion is distinct and are chosen from technical experts of the respective field.
- Jurors evaluation results are accessible online, with observance of security measurements and all the users are able to watch the progress percentage of their juridical evaluation and in case of objection toward their jurors or for contact with the manager, they are able to use in-site message system and get their answers at the moment.
Juridical evaluation of the articles
Jury board of the festival includes some well- known professors from technical Engineering universities and practical science in the sector of IT . In the respective board the scientific sent articles are evaluated in two processes, by the evaluation of the expert and experienced jurors and the selective articles are chosen by the final evaluation.
The prizes are awarded to the first and second grade sent articles, determined jurors are considered and evaluated in jurors board and the prizes for each grade items is awarded to the owners of the articles by the attained scores of the article owners.
The precious articles, by the distinction of the jurors would be awarded commemoration tablets.
The participation costs:
- The costs of sending websites to the competition sector is 400,000 Rls, for persons and private companies, and 700.000 Rls for organizational and governmental websites.
- Payment of the cost is possible in two ways of online or non-online (Direct through bank payment), and in both ways the bank receipt numbers should be registered in the festival website. (the required guideline are available in the website)
- Festival participation costs
Festival prize award :
- After the announcements of the results in the www.webdesigncenter.it website, during the festival it would be celebrating the winners and the superior works would be awarded.
- In every period of the festival one website is announced, as the superior website and is granted the first prize, the golden medallion and two other selected websites are granted silver and bronze medallions as second and third superior websites.
- Accordingly, the whole websites over 80 scores would attain their website image carved on tablets and the carved title of Iran's superior standard`s logo is handed over to the website over 100 scores.
- To the whole winners and the scores higher than 80, special certificate of the superior website of Iran would be presented.
- The winners list would come in winners part of the website in two languages of Persian and English.
- The whole selective websites over 60 sectors, would be presented in the website of the festival as the privileged websites.
- The winners list would be published in the Iran's website designer's book.
- The presentation of the festival's superior websites logo to the winners to be inserted in their websites. The acceptance of the websites in this competition is the best reasoning showing the winners as a professional team or person to the managers and directors, and their admiration would be a good cause on the preference of their resume.
Accordingly, the person interested in financial support of the respective prize, would be able to participate through filling the sponsorship forms or by letter writing to the following email address: sponsor@webdesigncenter.ir
